OUR TOWN

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and The Tony Award, Our Town is a classic masterpiece of the American Theatre. Uniquely theatrical, the Stage Manager takes us on this journey through small town life at the turn of the 20th Century as we watch the love story of George Gibbs and Emily Webb through Daily Life, Love and Marriage before finally ending with Death and Eternity. From the two families and the people of the town, to the teenagers growing up, graduating, and falling in love-- the success of Our Town is the universality that this could be the lives of people anywhere, anytime. There is the uncertainly of the future, the joy of finding your path and the heartbreaking conclusion, when we are asked “do human beings ever realize life while they live it—every minute?”
$20 general admission, $15 students and seniors
