Nicole Kubis Joins APA & HBHS Faculty

Congratulations to APA’s very own Nicole Kubis, who has officially joined Huntington Beach High School and APA MMET faculty!

Nicole Kubis joined APA as MMET Vocal Director in 2009 and has lent her expertise as a Master Teacher at APA and HBHS for over a decade. An APA alumna and HBHS graduate, Ms. Kubis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach and a teaching credential and Master’s in Education from National University.

With over fifteen years of professional vocal performance and music instruction, Ms. Kubis has recorded on projects with Steve Allen, Jack Sheldon, and Alan and Marilyn Bergman. She can be seen singing with her Andrews Sisters-inspired vocal trio, The Swing Kittens, who have traveled with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Billy Vaughn Orchestra on eight international music tours. They also had the honor of performing for the Princess and King of Thailand, and most recently, movie legend Steven Spielberg.

“This school holds such a special place in my heart as I grew and learned so much here, myself!” says Nicole Kubis of APA and HBHS. “I love and adore my students and can’t wait for this new chapter.”

APA and HBHS are thrilled to add Ms. Kubis to their award-winning faculty.
